1. Must be a member of a Racing Pigeon Club and in good standing.
Must be at least 18 yrs. old

The Holiday Cup is a one loft race, flown from the loft at our club adjacent to the SD Classic Loft.

The perch fees are 5 birds for $500 plus one free bird or $125 each.

The format of the race will be a 150, 200, and a 300 mi. race. Entry fee is $300 per bird due prior
to the 150 mi. race. There will be an optional $100 entry for the best average for the 3 races.
There will be 3 prizes for the average speed, split 50-30-20. The $300 entry will be for the 300
mile race only.
5.
First prize will be $20,000 and prizes will be paid to the top 10% of birds shipped to the race. 1st
prize based on 200 birds going to the race.
6.
15% will be deducted for expenses.
7.
Ship birds between March 1 and July 1, 2011. Replacement birds accepted until Aug. 1.

There is a 350 mi. Super Bird Race 2 weeks later. Entry fee is $100 if paid prior to the 300mi.
race and $200 if paid after the 300 mi. Race.
9.
The race will be open for 2 days except: If no bird is home at the end of the second day, the race
will stay open for an additional day. If no birds are home at the end of the 3rd day all prizes
and pools will be refunded minus the 15%.
10. Only birds completing
the 300 mi. race are eligible for the Superbird.
11. The prizes for the
Superbird will be 40-30-20-10.

MEGA RACE: All birds nominated for the Superbird Race can also be nominated for the Mega Race for
$25 if nominated prior to the 300 mi. race and $100 if nominated after the 300 mi. race. The Mega race
birds will be birds from the Holiday Cup, SD Classic, Triple Crown, and the California Classic.
13.
Cash or traveler checks only will be accepted during the race event.
14. Birds
will be returned to owners if requested within 2 weeks from the race. All shipping costs paid by breeder.
15.
Any unforseen circumstances will be settled by the San Diego Classic Club Board of Directors.
